Removing Bad Bishops and Selecting Good Ones
Today I came across a video from Church Militant on removing bad bishops.
They excommunicate a man like Fr. Vaughn Treco for preaching the Truth but hide and promote every manner of deviant.
I recall, once upon a time at a seminary I knew well they replaced the Field Ed director with a parish priest embezzler who liked casinos. “What’s he going to teach blackjack? Bingo practicum?” was my comment at the time.
My old secular job was in personnel psychology and there is a lot of talk in that field about “validation”. Is your selection system doing the job it is meant to do?
In the institutional Church that answer is often NO! First off whether it be bishop appointments or field ed directors it is almost never a person’s virtue or spiritual qualities that is primarily considered. And this is the problem.
All of the baptized are called to be saints and that involves a process of spiritual maturity. But in leadership roles folks need to have certain qualities. What good is an advanced theology or canon law degree if you can’t handle the basic qualities and virtues of a good Catholic single layman? Let alone stand at the altar of God and offer the Holy Sacrifice? Do these folks not fear God?? Generally no. They think God is all earthly acceptance, inclusion, earthly love and butterflies.
That’s garbage.
God loves us- He desires our ultimate good, but that does not mean an affirmation or tolerance for our sin. We are called to live lives worthy of the Divine adoption as sons and daughters of God.
The understanding of His love is twisted by a world that has lost its way and a Church that has accommodated itself to the “prince of this world” not the King of Kings.
In nearly every diocese there is a truly holy priest or two or ten etc but whatever number, it’s a small % that are true believers and holy men of God. Those who the people should demand be made bishops. Whether the poor priest wants it or not. These are men who will shed their literal blood for the Cross if need be. They care not for pension, nor dental plan, nor accolades of this world. They shun the friendship of people in power who support abortion or deviance against the teaching of the Church. They FEAR God and pay Him the honor and conduct of life that He is DUE.
In the end God wins.
Idolatry in Rome – It Breaks Your Heart
Accusations of Idolatry in Catholic practice
Nearly 30 years ago when I was in seminary I used to engage in apologetic discussions with “Bible Christian” acquaintances. Many of our disagreements proved to be based on misunderstandings and were resolved. Sometimes the disagreements were more serious but we could “agree to disagree” (for example on the doctrine of the Real Presence). In the end both “sides” found the other to be logical and reasonable but having different starting points (premises).
One of the weird things I would encounter with these folks is they would sometimes have been poisoned with the falsehoods of the likes of Jack Chick- deliberate
misrepresentations of Catholic doctrine to fool the less educated (Catholics worship Mary, believe in a “wafer god” etc. etc.).
Friends, not a single one of those falsehoods and insults can match what is going on in Rome today. The greatest enemies of the Church Our Lord founded are within our very gates.
As Benedict XVI said “In the end God wins” and He already has the Victory. Do not despair or be discouraged, but do not remain asleep or indifferent to the sacrilege and blasphemy in your midst.
The idolatry I am about to describe is a “fruit” not a seed. In other words, it is as a result of the gradual abandonment of the True Catholic Faith on a trajectory toward a syncretist one world religion of brotherhood. One that has man (Christian humanism) at its center not that of God- the True Triune God (The “nuReligion” spreads the nonsense and lie of other religions sharing the worship of the same God/god. We share our Creator but those who deny the Triune God, the Incarnation and the decent of the Holy Spirit DO NOT know Him).
The Seriousness of Idolatry
The Catholic Encyclopedia describes idolatry as “…the greatest of mortal sins. For it is, by definition, an inroad on God’s sovereignty over the world, an attempt on His Divine majesty, a rebellious setting up of a creature on the throne that belongs to Him alone. Even the simulation of idolatry, in order to escape death during persecution, is a mortal sin, because of the pernicious falsehood it involves and the scandal it causes.”
This idolatry did not come from “out of the blue” but as a result of the Church’s reorientation from God to man via aggiornamento (surrender/compromise to the “wisdom” of the world (“Christian” humanism). In this model we seek “inclusion” and “unity” as more important that the Truth.
The idolatry of these days is the result of a prolonged process that inevitably led to replacing God with things made by man. The matter of Pachamama is an accurate x-ray of the situation in the Church at this dramatic moment. Idolatry does not suddenly happen like lightning out of the blue. It is preceded by a prolonged process that begins with the loss of faith, with a silent and pragmatic atheism that grows like a larva and takes the form of an almost general apostasy. We have become atheists without realizing it while believing we are representing the interests of the Gospel in an ever-changing world.
Fr. Serafino M. Lanzetta at Lifesite News
The idolatrous worship of Pachamama and the concurrent display of the demon Moloch are events that would shock even many “liberal” Catholics who nonetheless seek to love Our Lord Jesus.
Pachamama
Pachamama is the Andean deity of “Mother Earth”/ a fertility goddess. She accepts sacrifice of various fruits of the earth as well as llama embryos and human children. She would have been one of the false gods that Christian missionaries would have exhorted the people to abandon for the sake of their souls.
Current Devotion/Followers
Far from being a dead religion, prominent figures such as the former president of Bolivia Evo Morales is a worshiper of Pachamama.
Veneration in Rome
On October 4th, 2019 in the presence of Pope Francis Bergoglio and other prelates the false goddess/demon Pachamama was venerated and/or worshiped. This news came almost beyond the capacity for we Catholics to absorb or believe.
A petition of protest was written and as a summary I have reproduced their charges here:
- “On October 4, Pope Francis attended an act of idolatrous worship of the pagan goddess Pachamama.
- “He allowed this worship to take place in the Vatican Gardens, thus desecrating the vicinity of the graves of the martyrs and of the church of the Apostle Peter.
- “He participated in this act of idolatrous worship by blessing a wooden image of Pachamama.
- “On October 7, the idol of Pachamama was placed in front of the main altar at St. Peter’s and then carried in procession to the Synod Hall. Pope Francis said prayers in a ceremony involving this image and then joined in this procession.
- “When wooden images of this pagan deity were removed from the church of Santa Maria in Transpontina, where they had been sacrilegiously placed, and thrown into the Tiber by Catholics outraged by this profanation of the church, Pope Francis, on October 25, apologized for their removal and another wooden image of Pachamama was returned to the church. Thus, a new profanation was initiated.
- “On October 27, in the closing Mass for the synod, he accepted a bowl used in the idolatrous worship of Pachamama and placed it on the altar.”
Bizarro: The Breast Feeding of Weasels/swine
Concurrent to this idolatry nonsense was a display seeking to show how “we are all connected”, but which is activity that mocks the dignity of humanity and reality of the Incarnation.
Fallout from the event
A young Catholic named Alexander Tschugguel of Vienna, Austria threw the statues into the Tiber River. Pope Francis Bergolio condemned this act and confirms the images were of the demon Pachamama.
Since these horrible events occurred in the context of the Amazonian Synod some of the attending bishops reportedly announced they would refuse to attend the closing Mass if Pachamama was present.
Some traditional groups remained silent. The Society of St. Pius X correctly condemned the horror. Some see in these events apocalyptic signs.
Some have linked the event to the abomination of desolation spoken of in the book of Daniel.
Understandably many in the Catholic world were upset about these reports, including Fr. Mitch Pacwa, SJ of EWTN/
Of particular concern is the usual political weaselry; when questioned by the Catholic media the Vatican representative present lied. They didn’t fool anyone who didn’t want to be fooled.
Some priests have already offered Masses and prayers of reparation. To date six cardinals and bishops have condemned the Pachamama event.
Moloch
Moloch was the god of the Phoenician and Carthaginian religions who also demanded child sacrifice. A statue of Moloch was displayed on grounds separate from the Vatican but on land controlled by the Vatican concurrent to the Pachamama idolatry. On the very spot Christians were martyred for their Faith.
Coincidence or Direct Link?
You may have noted the coincidence that child sacrifice figures prominently but did you know that the John Paul II Academy of Life was gutted of its life appointed members (appointed via JPII and Benedict XVI) and replaced with a number of characters opposed to the teaching of the Church.
Abortion is the Secular West offering of Child Sacrifice
It is saddening that the institutional church is attempting a “redefinition” of Pro-Life as they are trying to spin their trajectory towards syncretism and one-world religion based on fraternity and cultural Marxism, rather than on a central uncompromising, un-accommodating focus on the ONE True Triune God, a focus on Our True Lord and King: Jesus Christ.
Why do many bishops and priests ignore the Faith of their Christian ancestors and the people whom they shepherd?
Link to Our Lady of Akita?
As many of our readers know. Our Lady of Akita is a Church approved Marian apparition.
It has been reported that the messenger of Akita, St Agnes Sasagawa who has been silent from public life, I believe since 1976, spoke out on the very same day the Amazon synod opened.
The message to her was:
“Put on sackcloth and pray a Rosary for repentance every day.”
What Can You/I do about it?
Join us for the Mass of Reparation and future such events.
Sign up to our notification list on the sidebar here.
Pray, Pray, Pray for the restoration of Holy Mother Church, for the replacement of bad bishops and other clergy and for an increase of clarity and fever in our own hearts.
- Say the Rosary;
- Take on some form of penance, such as fasting, abstinence and other forms of mortification;
- Offer prayers to the Sacred Heart, such as the Consecration of the Human Race to the Sacred Heart of Jesus (see below);
- Other acts, such as attending a Holy Hour or Mass, offering them for this intention.
God Bless and Protect You. Thank you for your time in reading this.
– Fr. Meikle
As you can see from the banner at the header of this post, we announced our Mass and prayers of reparation in union with other concerned Catholics.
The Burning of Notre Dame and You
Two faces of postmodern France
There are those, even secular, who still honor the beautiful, Good and True. They include the atheists and agnostics who respond affirmatively to my question: “If the normative Christian God was true would you want it to be so?”
Then there are those who hate Christendom and what is left of it.
You’re entitled to either view. But opinion carries us only so far before it smacks against ontology. In other words, the reality of the normative Christian God, whether He exists or not, is not contingent on our opinions, tears, cheers, votes or prayers.
I am not proclaiming this is a fulfillment of prophecy, but I will bring to your attention three points from the Church approved apparition of Our Lady of Lasalette (1846):
“Paris will be burned.”
“France, Italy, Spain and England will be in war; blood will flow in the streets; Frenchman will fight with Frenchman, Italian with Italian; subsequently there will be a general war which will be appalling. For a time, God will no longer be mindful of France or Italy, because the Gospel of Jesus Christ is no longer known. The wicked will deploy all their malice.”
“Rome will lose the Faith and become the Seat of the Antichrist.”
Well folks, Rome has lost the Faith; just compare current teaching and pronouncements with stuff pre-1960. This is not an insult to sincere Catholics who through no fault of their own, simply do not know this. There are many folks of good will and sincere desire to serve God, (clergy and lay) in the mainstream Church. But they maintain their Faith in spite of modernist Rome, not because of it. Even an honest atheist, if they compared the Old Faith with the nuFaith, can see there is rupture- not an organic development with the Faith of the Saints. Many Catholics from all jurisdictions would agree we have a really problematic and distressing pope but no anti-Christ yet, to our knowledge.
In the last days satan will set-up a counter-church “which will be the ape of the Church because, he the devil, is the ape of God. It will have all the notes and characteristics of the Church, but in reverse and emptied of its divine content. It will be a mystical body of the anti-Christ that will in all externals resemble the mystical body of Christ.”
“The Church was critically spurned in the last few centuries because it claimed that it was Catholic and universal, uniting all men on the basis of one Lord, one faith and one Baptism, but in the new era, what the modern lost soul will take particularly about the counter-Church, is that it is catholic or international. It breaks down all national boundaries, laughs down patriotism, dispenses men from piety to country which the Christ enjoined, makes men proud that they are not Americans, French, or British, but members of a revolutionary class...
– Ven. Archbishop Fulton Sheen, 1947
Paris will be burned… did you know there have been 50+ Catholic church burnings since February in France? No? Gee why would the media not bother considering this newsworthy?
Civil war in within the EU? England? France? Italy? Never happen? Hmph. What news have you been reading?
Fulfillment? No, in spite of the alignment in many respects I don’t think so yet. But if the current under reported uprisings against the anti-Christian state flourish into something bigger then I think we are seeing the times spoke of by Our Lady of Lasalette.
For your sake: go to confession (at least yearly), go to Mass (at least weekly). If you don’t have the Traditional Mass then pray the Rosary and say the Act of Contrition frequently. Pray for the return of the Old Faith where you are. These are things you should be doing whether OL Lasalette is correct or not. Even whether Chicken Little is or not, as many secularists would mock Christians as being.
Time is short (prophecies aside- we never know when our time is up). You can ignore at your own peril, but you cannot say that you haven’t been warned.
This coming Friday we look upon Him who died for your Sins. The perfect Lamb of God. The Precious Blood, shed for you. Do we receive this with entitlement or with conviction?
God gave you your gift of Faith. He gave you your Holy Baptism. Do you respond with indifference or a life lived worthy to the vocation of being the Saint you were created to be?
For many of us, it’s not the rules we break, but our own inaction and indifference that is the greatest obstacle to our vocation and peril to our soul and eternity. The First Commandment is often forgotten long after the others are kept habitually with fidelity.
“Thou shalt not have other gods besides Me”
“‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”
This day resolve to pray and recommit with all you have those words of the Our Father: “Thy will be done.” Ask your Lord and King, given what He has given you in resources and talents what you are meant to do to restore Christendom, to be a light in this postmodern world that mocks Him when they haven’t forgotten Him.
God doesn’t NEED you. BUT He HAS chosen you. Your soul was changed and marked forever unto Him via your Holy Baptism. That entails great privilege, but also great duty and responsibility. It entails a commission.
“You have not chosen Me: but I have chosen you; and have appointed you, that you should go, and should bring forth fruit; and your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give it you.” – John 15:16
Are you going to refuse the summons from your King? Or perhaps you’re going to bury your talent in the ground while Christendom burns around you. Your choice. Choose BOLDLY.
The Parable of the Talents
“For it will be as when a man going on a journey called his servants and entrusted to them his property; to one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability. Then he went away.
He who had received the five talents went at once and traded with them; and he made five talents more. So also, he who had the two talents made two talents more. But he who had received the one talent went and dug in the ground and hid his master’s money.
Now after a long time the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them. And he who had received the five talents came forward, bringing five talents more, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me five talents; here I have made five talents more.’ His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a little, I will set you over much; enter into the joy of your master.’
And he also who had the two talents came forward, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me two talents; here I have made two talents more.’ His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a little, I will set you over much; enter into the joy of your master.’
He also who had received the one talent came forward, saying, ‘Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you did not winnow; so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here you have what is yours.’
But his master answered him, ‘You wicked and slothful servant! You knew that I reap where I have not sowed, and gather where I have not winnowed? Then you ought to have invested my money with the bankers, and at my coming I should have received what was my own with interest.
So take the talent from him, and give it to him who has the ten talents. For to every one who has will more be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away. And cast the worthless servant into the outer darkness; there men will weep and gnash their teeth.’
